West Plains defeats Glendale 73-72 Boys Varsity Basketball 1/29/13

The Zizzers of West Plains beat conference foe Glendale Falcons at home by the score of 73-72 in double overtime.  The Zizzers were lead by Senior Taylor Gill with 17 points and 6 rebounds.  West Plains will face the Rolla Bulldogs on Friday at home for another Ozarks Conference match up starting at 4:30 with the freshman playing first followed by the JV and varsity games.  The Zizzers improve to 12-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

West Plains 62 Camdenton 55 Varsity Boys Basketball @ Logan-Rogersville Tournament 1/24/13

West Plains defeated Camdenton by the score of 62-55 in the Logan-Rogersville Tournament and will now face Glendale in the consolation championship on Saturday 1/26/13 at 4:00pm.  The Zizzers were lead by Senior Cole Butler with 21 points, Senior Taylor Gill with 14 points, and Sophomore Zach Flippin with 13 points.  West Plains improves to 11-7 on the year.

West Plains 56 Strafford 57 Varsity Boys Basketball @ Logan-Rogersville Tournament 1/22/13

West Plains falls to Strafford 56-57 in the first round of the Logan-Rogersville Tournament.  The Zizzers were lead by Sophomore Zach Flippin with 18 points.  West Plains will face Camdenton on Thursday January 24^th @ 7:30 in the consolation side of the bracket.  The Zizzers are 10-7 on the season.

Kickapoo slips by West Plains 74-64, Varsity Boys Basketball

The Zizzers were lead by Senior Logan Miller with 18 points, Senior Cole Butler finished the night with 15 points, and Senior Taylor Gill pulled down 7 rebounds.  West Plains falls to 9-5 on the season, and they will travel to Springfield-Parkview for an Ozark Conference match-up on Tuesday January 15^th.

West Plains defeats Willow Springs 64-39 Varsity Boys Basketball

Senior Cole Butler lead the way for the Zizzers with 21 points, and Sophomore Justin Davis finished the night with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks.  The Zizzers move to     9-4 on the season.  The JV game was won also won by the Zizzers by a score of 49-33.  West Plains will start conference play Friday night with Kickapoo at home.
